1. The Origin of Craftsmanship
For over 150 years, Takisada-Nagoya has been at the heart of Japan’s textile craftsmanship. Located in the Bishū region — the birthplace of Japan’s finest wool fabrics — we have continued to weave not only textiles, but also relationships between makers, designers, and brands worldwide. Our journey began with the belief that fabrics can connect people through creativity and quality, a spirit that remains unchanged today.

2. The Spirit of Bishū
The Bishū area, known for its clean water, skilled artisans, and deep-rooted traditions, continues to be the foundation of our production. Each fabric tells a story of craftsmanship — from the spinning of fine yarns to meticulous weaving and finishing. Our local partners, many of whom are small family-run mills, maintain time-honored techniques while embracing innovation.

Our in-house team of 20 fabric designers combines data-driven insights with creative intuition to develop fabrics that meet modern demands — from luxury tailoring to functional performance wear. We believe that innovation should not replace craftsmanship, but rather enhance it.
